Coming soon: guest blogs

July 10, 2021

As a writer and comms consultant working in the conservation and sustainability sectors, I’m lucky enough to meet and network with some amazing professionals who are also working to make the world a better place. Whether they’re experts in making your comms more accessible, greening your website or they know everything there is to know about manta rays or basking sharks, they all have some great insights for you. That’s why I’m launching a guest blog series where I’ll host posts from relevant experts.

The guest blog posts will fall into three main categories relevant to my business and passions. These are:

Conservation and protecting our planet

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with and written about a range of amazing conservationists. From marine biologists to marine archaeologists, there are so many inspiring people striving to protect our ocean and our planet. And some of them have kindly agreed to share their expertise with you. So, watch this space for some epic chats and thought pieces from world-leading conservationists. I’ve already lined up plenty of great names but I'm still looking for more. If you or someone you know is doing something in the conservation space, let me know. I’m always keen to hear about conservation efforts around the world. Perhaps I could feature you too!

Marketing for good

I have plenty of posts planned about PR, copywriting and more. But there are so many different elements to creating great comms and running a sustainable business, including social media, SEO, PPC and more. While I’m not an expert in all of them, I wanted to provide you with helpful tips and insights to enable you to boost all elements of your comms. And what better way than going straight to the experts? Watch this space for the first guest blog posts, which are being prepared as I write this (exciting!). And do let me know of any particular topics you’d like this series to cover.

Sustainability

As most of you know, I’m striving to have a positive impact through my business. I’ve switched to a green hosting provider, adopt marine animals on behalf of new clients and regularly plant trees through Treeapp to become carbon negative. I’m learning all the time and there’s always more to learn and do. The more steps I take to improve my impact, the more amazing people I meet who are working to become more sustainable and to help others do the same. So I’m hoping to feature some of them too – from greening your website to becoming a B Corp, I’d love to hear which topics you are most curious about. And if you’re a sustainability expert and want to be featured, hit me up… I’d love to hear from you!

Featuring you

The first guest blog post will be coming very soon and I’m lining up several posts as we speak. If you’re an expert in these fields and want to be featured, please get in touch to discuss opportunities. I’d love to hear from you!
