About Me

About Me

I am a freelance journalist, copywriter and PR professional with extensive experience across the travel, charity and consumer sectors. I specialise mainly in scuba diving, marine and eco/sustainable travel but am adept in writing a wide range of content about various topics.

I’ve been published by the likes of Lonely Planet, Diver magazine, MTV and the Culture Trip among others. I am currently available for commissions and project briefs, whether that be articles, content creation or corporate copywriting.

With 10 years’ experience in PR & Communications, I am also able to provide strategic public relations and communications support.

If you’d like to discuss possible ways of working together, please do get in touch.

I’ve lived and worked in Melbourne, watched sunrise over Ankor Wat, swam with whale sharks in Mozambique, driven a TukTuk 3,500km across India and am always on the lookout for the next exciting adventure. That’s why I’m currently living in Mozambique where I’m volunteering with the Marine Megafauna Foundation.

I qualified as a PADI scuba diver in the Great Barrier Reef several years ago and have since dived in a variety of locations around the world – from the Farne Islands in the UK to Cuba, Grand Cayman, Nevis, Thailand, Sipadan (Borneo), Fiji, Aliwal Shoal (South Africa), Grenada and more! I’m now a regular contributor to Diver magazine and, as well as diving, am interested in marine life, conservation and the environment.

I’m available for commissions, copywriting support, proofreading and PR consultancy. If you think there’s a way we might be able to work together, please get in touch!

“Twenty years ago you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

I’m always happy to hear from destinations and tour operators to discuss feature opportunities, particularly those with a scuba diving slant, or to editors and publications about freelance contributions and working together.
